At Voolkia, we are dedicated to transforming businesses with cutting-edge technology solutions. Founded as Levi Minond in 1985, we reinvented ourselves as Voolkia Software & Services in 2015, marking our 30th anniversary with a renewed mission and vision. With over three decades of expertise, we specialize in delivering exceptional IT services to companies of all sizes, driving efficiency, productivity, and growth.

Throughout our journey, we have initiated several successful spin-offs, including UniversoBit, Argentina’s leading online talent recruitment platform specializing in IT. Our extensive experience enables us to provide tailored solutions that address the unique challenges of modern enterprises, ensuring every project we undertake is efficient and effective.

Our Journey Through Innovation

Our story began with a vision to revolutionize the IT industry. Over the years, we have grown, adapted, and continuously pushed the boundaries of innovation. Here are the key milestones that have defined our journey:

1985

We started with a dream of Fernando Levi and Ruben Minond: to create a software product that could be sold massively by simply playing a floppy disk. Thus, Leviminond and Associates was born.

1995

We decided to shift from producing and selling packaged software to providing services to large customers.

1999

The crisis at the turn of the millennium (Y2K) marked a major challenge: adapting systems to the new century. (We grew 7X between 1997 and 2000 by solving the global Y2K problem for the largest companies in the country.)

2000

We decided to create a tool to publish all our job offers, and thus was born the first IT job site in Argentina: UNIVERSOBIT.COM

2002

After a strong crisis in Argentina, we made a bold move by opening an office in the United States and another in Spain, trying to generate new growth opportunities.

2006

The founders stepped aside and promoted Gustavo Averbuch as CEO.

2009

UniversoBIT.com was sold to BUMERAN.COM, ownedby NAVENT Group, controlled by the TIGER Global Management hedge fund.

2010

All of our processes and products became ISO9001 certified.

2012

Our CEO was elected President of POLO IT BUENOS AIRES, representing more than 150 IT companies in the city between 2012 and 2014.

2014

To support our growth, we purchased an office in the Technological District of the city of Buenos Aires.

2015

After 30 years, we renewed our brand: VOOLKIA Software & Services was born.

2016

We focused on artificial intelligence for the energy industry.

2017

We launched our company in the United States with VOOLKIA LLC, based in Florida.

2018

Our relationship with our customer MERCADO LIBRE ($MELI, LATAM's No. 1 company) grew, and we sold over 4M USD to them.

2019

RSK Blockchain partnership.AI Anomaly Detection, monitoring, and maintenance of industrial IoT systems.

2020

The COVID pandemic hit, but we managed to transition all our employees to remote work from the outset, ensuring job stability.

2023

The integration of Quantum Machine Learning into Anomaly Detection models began

2024

We expanded to Uruguay with our new company name VOOLKIA SAS.We attained ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information security, cybersecurity, and privacy protection certification.

Voolkia partners with Salesforce Einstein AI (in progress).
